A successful end to the Mera Peak Expedition!
Well, after a strenuous few weeks climbing high sleeping low 10 out of the 12 climbers summitted on 29th April 2008 with the first on top at 08:31 and the last around 10:00. A tremendous achievement by all.
Having never climbed at altitude before it is quite amazing how it effects you, loss of appetite, loss of sleep, dizziness, 10 paces and hunch over your ice axe for breath!
But all worth it, this is the first summit video taken by myself with Kel Rankin first in the picture and then Frank, see it here.
